Advanced

Advanced Ballet

Advanced Ballet is the highest level that students can study at Burbank School of The Ballet.  The class is exactly what is should be …advanced class!  This level must be attended three times weekly and is two hours in length.  Pointe shoes are worn for most every class in its entirety.  Classical ballet variations for both the female and male dancer are taught and perfected.  It is mandatory that the students in this level take stretch & condition, character, jazz and lyrical in addition to their classical ballet curriculum. All advanced are invited to participate with the Burbank Youth Ballet Company, BYBC. All of our advanced students look forward to participating in our annual Performance Awards and the year end performance.
